The founding meeting of the Studenthus association marks the start of a historic student association. It marks the start of a more united student Oslo. Join us from the start and help influence the biggest investment project of the decade for students in Oslo.
At the founding meeting, we will not only establish the student association. We will also get to know each other well and enjoy good food and lots of fun.

Program for foundation meeting
17.00 - We open the doors at Rebel Arena. There will be an opportunity to mingle and get to know each other, play table tennis and see parts of the building. We recommend everyone to come during this time, so that we have the opportunity to get to know each other well.
18.00 - We start the foundation meeting. Everyone must be on time. We start the meeting with some information and a round of introductions. Then we follow the usual general meeting procedure:
- Election of chairman and rapporteur.
- Presentation of the agenda and report.
- Presentation of the work that has been done and will be done, with accounts and budget.
- Division into groups to discuss what we want the association to be and do.
- Vote for the name of the association.
- Election of offices. The positions are chairman, deputy chairman, financial manager and up to 9 members of the board.
- Processing of submitted cases.
- Determination of contigent.
- Finally, we register everyone who wants to become a member.
20:00 - Those who wish can gather at the Skråplanet pub - which is next door to Rebel Arena - to celebrate this historic day.
What can you do before the foundation meeting?

You can notify us that you will attend a foundation meeting in one of two ways.
NB. You are still allowed to come to the foundation meeting even if you have not signed up. But we really appreciate it if you sign up so that we can know how many people are coming and arrange enough food for everyone. If there is not enough food for everyone, those who have signed up will be fed first.
Are you considering running for office?
We are looking for talented and motivated students to lead the association. Is that you? Taking on a position is a lot of responsibility, at least for an association like this one, but it is reciprocated with a great learning outcome and exciting experiences, which will be even greater in this association. You can run for a seat on the board as either chair, deputy chair, finance manager or ordinary board member. The positions are the typical positions an association has, but you can read more about exactly what they entail in the statutes at the bottom of the student association page.
Suggest changes to the articles of association or other matters
Do you want to influence the association more from the start? Feel free to submit proposals for changes to the articles of association or other issues you would like to raise at the founding meeting. Everyone is welcome to provide input here. You submit the proposals in the bylaw amendment form. You can read the proposed/current statutes at the bottom of the student association page.
Submit names for the naming contest
This association will be for all students in Oslo. Therefore, all students in Oslo will have the opportunity to influence the association by submitting a proposal for the name of the association. The members of the association will then vote on the name they want at the founding meeting. You can submit proposals for changes to the articles of association and other proposals in two ways:
